My sister tells me to be in Spanish cl, but I want to learn German?

My 9th grade orientation or whatever is coming up soon and I was wondering about whether I should take Spanish or German. I want to learn German. It might be more difficult, but it would be a more fun language for me I believe. Besides, the Spanish teacher hates me. I was in her cl last year for half a semester, and now she has like a vendetta against me. My sister says that I should take Spanish because it will get me more money in my job in the future because people will pay you more to have a bilingual person who knows English and Spanish rather than one who knows English and German. As I quote Aristotle, "Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work." well if my Spanish teacher hates me and I hate Spanish and her, then why take that cl anyway?
