SHOULD Israel care about peace? Why?

Thank you...another human being who looks at the point of view of Israel. Why do you think us jews hold something like 35% of all nobel prizes?! Win. You make a great statement with "If Canada or Mexico Fired...."...I've been saying that phrase for years. I mean look how many rockets were fired into Israel in 2 years...from 2006-2008 over 4,000 Rockets...and I'm not counting mortars. It's ridiculous to think that when Israel responds...even opens their mouths about it, they are bashed and ridiculed by the U.N. and about 40% of americans. Makes me sick. Another reason I'm joining IDF and living there once I graduated high school and college.
