Do you think this this is weird?

My wife and I love the name Briana (Bri-Ah-nuh) but my best friend thinks it's weird we chose that name because my Ex was named Brianna (Bri-an-nah) and that my wife's old best friend had a child named Bryanna. I should mention my wife and I have been together 7 years and my Ex and I only dated for 6 months on and off. To my wife and I these issues never even were mentioned until my best friend brought it up. He is the only one we have told our name choice to, so now we are naturally worried what others will think. Do you think it's strange?
