metas are an important part of S.E.O ( search engine optimisation ) but the problem with most search engines is there is not 'much' point in submitting your site, because as soon as you have just 1 incoming link, most will find you - places like google dont rate you by the metas or popularity of your site ( metas are just there to describe your site to potentual visiters ), they rank by 'quality' 'on subject' links
